Futura is a clean, geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Renner in 1927. It’s built from simple shapes; circles, triangles, and straight lines; which gives it a modern, precise, and almost futuristic feel.
Often associated with the Bauhaus movement, Futura emphasizes clarity and function over decoration. Its sharp lines and balanced proportions make it ideal for bold posters, headlines, and minimalist designs where you want a strong visual impact without clutter.
“Night Visions” is the breakthrough debut album by Imagine Dragons, released in 2012. It introduced their signature sound; blending alternative rock with electronic beats, atmospheric textures, and powerful, emotional vocals.
I designed this using a space-themed background. I used deep blues and star textures to create a dreamlike mood. I added a paper plane to show movement and a sense of escape, and crumpled paper at the bottom to represent ideas or struggles. The design uses light and dark contrast to match the emotional and powerful feel of the music.
